Web dialogue: Response of Clemens and Paul

Clemens, 21, and Paul, 17, of Germany were in Oświęcim/Auschwitz for two weeks in the summer of 2016 and there explored the history of the camp and the responsibility borne by the Topf & Sons engineers. This is their audio-visual collage.

How do you see the actions of Topf & Sons?

"We think Kurt Prüfer’s behaviour was simply repulsive", Clemens and Paul say in their post. In the company records and at the historical site of the Auschwitz camp, they looked for answers to the question of what the Topf & Sons engineers did and what their motives were.
