Web dialogue: Response of Clara and Karolina

Clara of Germany and Karolina of Poland, both seventeen years old, answered together. They spent two weeks in Oświęcim/Auschwitz in the summer of 2016. This is their video statement.

What does the Holocaust mean to you?

"Holocaust for me was the most absurd time in human history. The time when there were humans, but no humanity." Clara of Germany and Karolina of Poland captured their feelings of sadness and perplexity in moving images they recorded at the Auschwitz Memorial in August 2016.
